Rainy Worth Avenue Engagement

On Sunday, November 3rd, 2019, Andrew and I had the pleasure of capturing Alex and Joanna's rainy Worth Avenue engagement session. Even though the forecast called for mostly cloud and only 20% chance of rain, it rainy during their entire session! At times it was calm, but toward the end, it was very heavy and with so much wind! They were troopers!

Alex and Joanna chose Worth Avenue on Palm Beach Island for the elegant scene and colorful flowers. Although the day was dull and gray, we were determined to give them their dream engagement photos!  It may have taken a bit more strategy and editing, but I think we delivered. In fact, I feel like the rain added an extra magical feel!

Alex and Joanna will be saying, "I do," in February of 2020! We are so excited to be a part of their day! Especially since Alex is one of our life-long friends! He is actually the one person most responsible for Andrew and I being together! That's right. In high-school, Alex played matchmaker for us. We had all been friends since middle school, and in 2009, Andrew and I were both no longer dating anyone else, so Alex did what any good friend would do and pushed 'shy' Andrew to talk to me. Alex would setup a three-way calls so we would be forced to talk! Well, all his matchmaking paid off, and we are so grateful for it! Alex, thank you for being such a great friend! We are so grateful for you!

Nicole + Charles | Palm Beach Marina Engagement

Palm Beach Marina Engagement in Downtown West Palm Beach, Florida

On Friday, September 27th, 2019, Andrew and I had the pleasure of capturing Charles and Nicole's Palm Beach Marina engagement on the gorgeous Downtown WPB waterfront! Their session was a dream! The perfect cotton candy clouds, a peaceful breeze and a stunning couple made this session dreamy! Grand white yachts and a glistening coastal waterway filled the backdrop for this dreamy engagement session.

We began our session at the Palm Beach Marina where the yachts seemed to light up the scene. Afterward, we walked south along the West Palm Beach Waterfront, capturing sweet and romantic photos along the way. Lastly, but not least, we finished their session in the most meaningful spot to them! The dock where they share their first moments together; where Charles proposed exactly one year from the day they began dating; and most importantly, where they will be saying, "I do," in just TWO WEEKS!

Andrew and I have personally known Nicole and her family for over 12 years! So we are extra excited to have the privilege of not only documenting but witnessing their big day! After meeting Charles for the first time, I was so happy to see the joy he brought to Nicole's face. It is so evident in the photos below. He brings a genuine, joyful presence and makes you feel like you have known him for years. Charles is truly the perfect match for Nicole! Together, they are such a power couple, and we are exciting to see where the future takes them both!

Summer Beach Family Vacation Portraits

We love capturing family vacation memories! It's one of our favorite types of sessions! I especially love it when previous vacation clients come back to Palm Beach County and hire us again! We love our clients, and getting to work with them again a few years later is the BEST!

The Rewalt Family is one of those families! They hired us about three years ago to document their family vacation, and this year, they came back! When Lidia emailed me, I was so excited to work with them again! Life had changed for both them and us! We had an extra little assistant now, and Lidia asked if we could bring her. We thought about it, and decided to bring her so they could meet the newest member of the family! Gabby did so great and Lidia even got her the CUTEST little outfit from Janie & Jack!

Delray Beach Sunrise Maternity Portraits

On Saturday, January 12th, 2019, Andrew and I had the pleasure of working with Daniella and John, capturing their Delray Beach sunrise maternity portraits! We woke up before the sun rose and headed to the same spot on Delray Beach that John had proposed to Daniella years prior.

Three years later, they were back in the same spot, this time with a sweet little bump. In April 2019, they will be welcoming their little girl! She was 28 weeks pregnant during this session, and I was 29 weeks! It was pretty cool to have our due dates so close and both be welcoming little girls!

It was such a pleasure to capture these dreamy beach maternity photos! The morning was a bit chilly and very windy. Daniella's dress and hair were flowing beautifully. With the glow of the sunrise and the whimsical breeze, their session was just magic. As a result, I have too many favorites! I hope you enjoy their gorgeous maternity session!
