Alana + Dave | Dreamy Spring Wedding at the Addison in Boca Raton, FL
A Dreamy Spring Addison Wedding
On Friday, April 21st, 2017, Andrew and I had the honor of capturing Alana & Dave's dreamy wedding at the Addison in Boca Raton, Florida. Their wedding day featured many unique details that made their wedding day truly their own.
We first met Alana and Dave at Kristine & Tristan's wedding a little over a year ago. I captured a photo of Alana & Dave during their wedding and then they contacted us to capture their wedding! I love when I can look back and see the chain of client referrals that brought us our current client. A chain of four different referrals brought us Alana and Dave!
About their Addison Wedding
Alana's wedding dress was a showstopper. The stunning cut and intricate beading made her dress one to remember. Dave wore a gray suit with a white tie to match his bride. Pops of a deep purple and light green brought some color to this elegant wedding. For the favors, Dave's mother hand-made green ceramic votive candle holders. They were each unique and stamped at the bottom with Dave and Alana's names and wedding date!
One of my favorite details about their day was the band Dave brought together for their reception! Dave has been a professional musician for many years, so when it came time to select the entertainment for their wedding reception he knew exactly what he wanted to do. He began calling some of his life-long friends and hand selected the entire band. He brought together an incredible team with over 8 members! They had never played together before but you would never have guessed that! They kept the party alive all night long!
On top of having a terrific band he also arranged to have some special performances by different guests! Just when the music and the day couldn't get any sweeter, Dave got on stage and performed a song with the band dedicated to Alana! It was the sweetest thing ever! To hear the full song click here.

Stephanie + Brandon | Palm Beach Destination Engagement
A Destination Engagement in Palm Beach, Florida
He got down on one knee and popped the big question at the Breakers in Palm Beach the day before their engagement shoot. They were still on cloud 9 and beaming with joy. Her dream was to be proposed to in Palm Beach--a place she often visited with her family. Although she had her suspicions when the question was asked, it came as a wonderful surprise. She had the man of her dreams, a gorgeous ring on her finger and had packed her favorite Lilly Pulitzer dress! She was ready for her next surprise!
Stephanie's parents contacted us a few weeks prior to their trip to Palm Beach from Chicago. They told me the plan and how they wanted to surprise Stephanie with her dream engagement shoot in Palm Beach the day after the proposal!
Stephanie's mom, Lori, even wrote a personalized poem that she framed and gave to Stephanie after the proposal to tell her about her second surprise---her dream engagement shoot!
It was such a pleasure working with this happy couple! It was such an honor to capture their Palm Beach destination engagement photos!
Stephanie and Brandon,
Andrew and I wish you all the best as you begin this wonderful new season of life! We hope you enjoy looking back on your engagement photos for many years to come!
We started with a few quick portraits in the colorful Worth Avenue!
Then we made our way to the Worth Avenue Clock Tower! The main spot Stephanie always dreamt of having her engagement photos captured at!
When I saw Stephanie's ring I was in awe. It was one gorgeous ring. Then she told me that her uncle was the owner of Astrein's Creative Jewelers and designed her incredible ring for Brandon to give to her! How sweet is that!?
The framed photo her parents gave her after the proposal to tell her about her engagement shoot with us!
Then it was time for a few classic beach photos!
Then we finished up their Palm Beach destination engagement shoot with a few more photos in front of the Worth Avenue Clock Tower!

Michelle + Alejandro | Dreamy Singer Island Beach Wedding
A Dreamy Singer Island Beach Wedding
On Sunday, February 19th, 2017 Andrew and I had the pleasure of capturing Michelle and Alejandro's dreamy Singer Island beach wedding at the Hilton Singer Island Oceanfront Resort. This dreamy wedding was a perfect blend of whimsical feels and rustic touches. Their wedding chuppah by Kish Events brought these two elements together seamlessly. Rustic branches formed the structure while soft ivory flowers and lush greenery decorated the front.
One of my favorite details from this wedding was Michelle's wedding gown. She wore a stunning ivory gown that had a gorgeous strappy back. This was the perfect gown for a beach wedding. It flowed so effortlessly in the breeze and its simple style fit the beach feel so well.
Michelle and Alejandro, thank you for having us be a part of your gorgeous wedding day! It was such a pleasure capturing your big day!
Their Love Story:
They met on Tinder. He lived in Pembroke Pines and she lived in Palm Beach Gardens, but they both worked in Lake Worth so that's how they were matched. In Alejandro's Tinder profile, he had stated that he was from Argentina, which immediately caught Michelle's eye because so was she. They talked on the phone a few times before they met in person. But within a week of the day they matched, they went on their first date.Their first date was on September 6th, 2014, where they met halfway at Mizner Park in Boca Raton and had dinner at the Yard House. After dinner, they began to stroll the streets of the Mizner area while chatting and getting to know one another. By the time they looked at the clock, eight hours had passed.Alejandro even played guitar for her later in the parking garage. They saw each other a few more times in the week that followed, during which he formally asked her to be his girlfriend twice and actually got turned down. It wasn't until the following Saturday when they met at the beach in Hollywood and he asked again and she finally said yes!Michelle was the first to say "I love you" on their one-month anniversary of dating, on a Rubik's cube that she made him with pictures of them. One of the sides was a little note she wrote him, which said, "I love you" at the end. On their one-year anniversary, Alejandro popped the big question. One simple evening at home after dinner he pulled out the ring box. After a few heartfelt remarks, he asked her the question and, of course, she said yes!

Lindsay + Gyles | Tropical Beach Wedding in Bonita Springs, FL
A Breezy Tropical Beach Wedding at The Club at Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs, Florida
On Saturday, October 8th, 2016 Andrew and I had the pleasure of traveling to the West coast of Florida for Gyles & Lindsay's tropical beach wedding at the Club at Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs, Florida. This tropical beach wedding was an eye-catching array of vibrant colors and breezy, beachy vibes. The bridesmaids wore bright pink strapless gowns and the groomsmen wore white button-down shirts with light khaki slacks. Bright pink parasols and streamers filled the ceremony scene as the stunning couple made their way down the aisle as husband and wife for the first time!
Every detail came together so perfectly to bring the tropical theme to life. The Club at Barefoot Beach was the perfect beach front venue and the staff was amazing! It was our first time capturing a wedding in Bonita Springs, Florida, so it was a delightful change of scenery! We also had the chance to work with some amazing local vendors! They graciously welcomed us 'out-of -towners' and were a pleasure to work with!
Lindsay was a special bride because she has been in three other weddings we have captured. She was a bridesmaid in Brittany & Josh's wedding is 2014, Danielle and John's wedding in 2015 and Rochelle & Scott's wedding earlier this year! Plus she will also be in her sister Lauren's wedding in July of 2017! This whole wedding felt like a family reunion for us! All three of our previous couples were there with their families so it was quite wonderful to see them all!
Lindsay & Gyles, thank you so much for allowing Andrew and I the pleasure of capturing your amazing wedding day! So honored to have been a part of your big day! We wish many years of happiness!
These bouquets by Signature Florals were amazing! So this creative pose was all Andrew's idea! Rochelle & Scott who you may remember from their wedding at the Addison earlier this year! Three of my brides in one photo! Love these ladies!
