Selby Ann | 18th Birthday Portraits in Palm Beach, Florida
On July 11th, 2024, I had the pleasure of capturing Selby Ann’s 18th Birthday Portraits in Palm Beach, Florida. Her sweet mother & aunt (Twins!!) planned a Palm Beach getaway for her birthday complete with a two-hour portrait session all over Palm Beach! They traveled from Tennessee and stayed at my favorite spot, The Colony Hotel! We began our session in the westward part of Worth Avenue which gives a charming Mediterranean vibe. We then headed east on Worth Avenue, capturing lifestyle portraits along the way.
Selby Ann brought three dresses for her session! The first was an adorable light pink, smocked, strapless dress with eyelet ruffles at the bottom. It paired beautifully with the scenes of Worth Avenue but especially with the Colony Hotel. This is where we did a quick stop for her to change into her second dress!
The second dress was a fun white, tiered ruffle, strapless dress! We captured this dress around the Colony Hotel before changing into her last and final dress—the showstopper!
For the final dress, she wore a Pink Floral, Ruffle Tired, Cut-out Chiffon Gown by Mac Duggal! This dress was stunning on her and so perfect for Palm Beach! We then headed east again, towards the beach! We began at the Worth Avenue Clock Tower, capturing some dreamy princess-like portraits! These were some of my favorite shots from the entire session!
We ended her session on the Palm Beach seashore where she joyfully finished the session by getting into the ocean! It was such a fun way to end this very fun birthday portrait session!
This session was such a joy to capture! I hope you enjoy these highlights!
The Muth Family | Worth Avenue Family Vacation Portraits
It was a pleasure capturing the stunning Muth family portraits during their vacation in Palm Beach! Their Worth Avenue vacation portraits we relaxed, candid & joyful. It was a cloudy and slightly rainy Summer day, but that didn’t stop their session from being anything but sunshine! Worth Avenue cleared out because of the weather, leaving us with clear sidewalks and pathways which is always a plus in my book!
Most people get nervous about the rain when it comes to photo shoots, and some rainy days definitely require rescheduling but if there is only a bit of light rain or a small passing shower, it might make your session even dreamier! There is something magical about Worth Avenue right after the rain clears. The way raindrops fall from the buildings, the sidewalks glisten & the birds come out chirping. Simply one of my favorite things. That’s how this session ended, we caught a passing shower in the middle of our session but it passed in about five minutes, and because we were in Worth Ave. with plenty of coverage, no one was soaked! It was a perfect reflection of this gorgeous family session!
Muth Family: It was a joy to work with you all! I hope you love your family photos for many years to come!
Brittany + Justin | Elegant Palm Beach Engagement
On November 10th, 2019, Andrew and I had the pleasure of capturing Brittany and Justin's elegant Palm Beach engagement session! This session quickly became one for the books! Justin and Brittany invited us explore Palm Beach in their family's Rolls Royce! We stopped at a handful of the most iconic Palm Beach locations, capturing the most romantic engagement photos! Talk about a dream session!
We visited the Flagler Museum, The Breakers Palm Beach, Bethesda by the Sea and Worth Avenue. Not only did we have a gorgeous car and the dreamiest locations but also the most stunning couple! They wore such elegant outfits that worked so well with each location. Justin wore a classic black tuxedo and Brittany wore a sparkly, silver sequin cocktail dress. Together they were show stoppers!
Their entire session was filled with adventure and fun! We felt like we were just hanging out with our friends the entire time! Also, being the car girl that I am, I loved having an extra prop in their photos. That Rolls probably made it into too many shots, but boy, was it pretty! Some of my favorite shots were the ring shots taken on the car! They turned out amazingly, and I'm still obsessed.
Brittany & Justin:
Thank you so much for allowing us the honor of documenting such a special time in your lives! It was such a pleasure getting to know you both and working with you! We truly had the BEST time with you guys, and we would be elated to work together again! Enjoy this sweet season and have the best time eloping!! We are so happy for you both!
