On January 2nd, 2020, I had the pleasure of working with the Thompson family for the second time! It was such an honor to be welcomed back to document their vacation memories for the second year! Their Eau Palm Beach Resort family portraits this year were filled with sunshine and tropical feels. Their simple yet classy outfit choices worked so well with the breezy, tropical backdrop. They are such a sweet family, and it is an honor to be their South Florida vacation photographer!

Gabby & Family Christmas Photos in West Palm Beach, Florida
It’s hard to believe Christmas is upon us and we have a 9-month-old already! These last 9 months have flown by, but probably because they have been the best months of our lives! Gabby is our little angel, and this season has been our favorite so far! It has been so fun to see her light up every morning when she sees her Christmas tree! Naps under the tree have become a regular thing, and it might be best view ever! The spark of Christmas magic is in her eyes every day, and it’s my favorite thing!
She is growing so fast! At her recent 9-month appointment, she was 17lb. 12oz., in the 43rd percentile and a whopping 29 & 1/2 inches long, in the 98th percentile! Fun fact, I looked at my baby records recently, and I was exactly 29 & 1/2 inches long at 9 months too! I was also very close in weight too, at 17lb. 8oz.! I thought that was neat!
She loves to sit up, crawl and jump! The simplest little thing lights up her world! “Dada,” seems like it’s her first word! I say, “Mama,” sometimes to her, and she just giggles and says “Dada.” Ugh, lol! Recently, she started repeating some sounds after I make them, and it’s so cute! She caught her first cold after our trip to Tennessee for Thanksgiving and just got over it this past week. It was a little rough for a while, but we’re so thankful she is better!
With Christmas being my favorite holiday and always taking way too many photos, Gabby has been having Christmas photos done since November! Yes, I know, that’s a lot! But this is me, and I knew I would regret it if I didn’t! This is just one of the ways I make Christmas special: I take ALL the photos!
Be sure to check out the best “Funny Faces of Gabby” at the end of this post! Pretty sure you don’t want to miss them! 😉
From our family to yours, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
38-Weeks! Outfit: Cracker Barrel This adorable outfit is a special one because I actually bought it two years ago, after our miscarriage. I brought it with the hope that one day my daughter would fill it. Two years later, here she is, 9 months old and the exact size of the outfit (the only size available)!
God is so good! He knows my heart and knew how much I needed this angel. The best answer to our many prayers. We just love her so much! Thank you Lord for the BEST Christmas present EVER! Our 2019 Family Christmas photos:
Thank you mom for capturing our beautiful family Christmas photos for us!
Bow: Little Poppy Co. | Outfit: H&M | Blanket Scarf: Zara I realized this after, but I unintentionally chose the same place we took our 2016 Christmas photos, the same Christmas we had our miscarriage. It was another sweet reminder this Christmas that God is SO good and He will see you through the storm. It was so sweet to be in the same spot again at Christmas, this time with our little angel!
See our photos from three years ago, here. 39-Weeks: This was a special week because she was born exactly at 39 weeks, and she turned 39 weeks the day these were taken! It’s crazy to think she has been on the outside longer than she was on the inside! But time does fly when you are having fun, and we sure are having fun! Bow: Little Poppy Co. | Outfit: H&M
Can I make cozy warm naps under the Christmas tree a Bolin family tradition!? I think YES!
And now, what you’ve been waiting for! It’s time for the Funny Faces of Gabby! Enjoy!
And… my favorite! Haha!! I really need to caption these! Feel free to leave your captions in the comment section below!
Gabby’s 15-Week-Old 1950’s 4th of July Themed Portraits
Happy 4th of July!
In honor of Independence Day, for Gabby’s 15-week-old portrait session, we decided to do a 1950’s 4th of July themed session! In my very biased opinion, the photos came out so stinking cute that they just had to grace the blog! We hope you enjoy this little ray of sunshine on your holiday! Enjoy the day and stay safe!
A special thank you to all those who have served our country and laid down their lives for our freedom. We are so blessed and grateful to live in “The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.” God bless America.
