On Sunday, November 3rd, 2019, Andrew and I had the pleasure of capturing Alex and Joanna’s rainy Worth Avenue engagement session. Even though the forecast called for mostly cloud and only 20% chance of rain, it rainy during their entire session! At times it was calm, but toward the end, it was very heavy and with so much wind! They were troopers!
Alex and Joanna chose Worth Avenue on Palm Beach Island for the elegant scene and colorful flowers. Although the day was dull and gray, we were determined to give them their dream engagement photos! It may have taken a bit more strategy and editing, but I think we delivered. In fact, I feel like the rain added an extra magical feel!
Alex and Joanna will be saying, “I do,” in February of 2020! We are so excited to be a part of their day! Especially since Alex is one of our life-long friends! He is actually the one person most responsible for Andrew and I being together! That’s right. In high-school, Alex played matchmaker for us. We had all been friends since middle school, and in 2009, Andrew and I were both no longer dating anyone else, so Alex did what any good friend would do and pushed ‘shy’ Andrew to talk to me. Alex would setup a three-way calls so we would be forced to talk! Well, all his matchmaking paid off, and we are so grateful for it! Alex, thank you for being such a great friend! We are so grateful for you!
Alex & Joanna, thank you for letting us document your love story! We are so happy for you both and are beyond excited for your wedding day! This next new season of life is so sweet! Enjoy every single minute!

On January 20th, 2019, Andrew and I had the pleasure of capturing Curtis and Amber’s Riverside Park engagement in Vero Beach, Florida. Amber is Andrew’s little sister and lives in Virginia. She was in Florida for Marissa and Cal’s wedding, so we decided to do their engagement photos the following day in Vero Beach!
They chose a gorgeous park in Vero Beach called Riverside Park. There was tons of gorgeous spanish moss hanging from tall, shady trees. It was a cool, breezy day, and the lighting was perfect!
These two are so sweet and so in love! We can’t wait to be a part of their wedding day in May! Congratulations Amber and Curtis! We are so happy for you both!

On Sunday, October 7th, 2018, Andrew and I had the honor of capturing Marissa and Calvin’s dreamy Frenchman’s Forest Engagement session! Their session took place in the afternoon of that fall day. The light was peeking through the trees, and the quiet breeze swayed the tree ever so gracefully.
Marissa and Calvin are just about as sweet as it gets! I’ve known Marissa since she was a toddler, and capturing her happiness gave me such joy. To see her now—so in love and nothing but smiles—was a beautiful sight. Their love is a beautiful reflection of what a God-honoring relationship looks like.
Marissa and Calvin, thank you so much for making the trip down so we could capture your engagement photos! We had such a great time working with you both! We can’t wait to capture your big day!!
We started their session with some of my favorite shots! That light was so dreamy!! How stunning is her engagement ring!? Those curving trees!!
They are seriously the cutest!
