A few weeks ago, some of my family came into town from Miami, FL. We decided to spend a day at Lion Country Safari in West Palm Beach, FL.! I had not been to the park in many years. Visiting brought back many fond memories from my childhood. There are so many beautiful wild animals to see at this park. We had a wonderful day at Lion Country Safari and I highly recommend this local amusement park. Now, sit back and enjoy some of my favorite sights from our trip!
This bird was cracking me up! It enjoyed a ride on that back of this Asiatic Water Buffalo for a good few minutes!
Local photographer, Stephanie Plateroti of Espee Photographie is a joy to work with! Her adventurous spirit and overflowing joy is contagious! Stephanie and I decided to get together and explore Singer Island. We ended up at Ocean Reef Park. With gorgeous light peeking through trees that lead up to the beach and unique rocks laying across the shore, this beach was a perfect choice. I love having the opportunity to get to know other photographers and explore new locations!
Stephanie, you are a beautiful person both inside and out! I hope you enjoy your new portraits! 🙂
My favorite image from this Singer Island portrait shoot!
The Henson family was a complete joy to work with! They hired me to capture some family portraits on Worth Avenue / Palm Beach, beach while on their vacation here in South Florida. Since they were visiting all the way from Missouri they had never had portraits done on the beach! This lovely family was full of energy and giggles! Sweet Eleanor, age 4, was bouncing up and down the sandy shore of Palm Beach. Swedish Fish popping out of mom’s purse were the only bargaining chip to get little miss Eleanor to take a break and say “cheese”! 🙂 I had so much fun with this beautiful family and I’m so excited to share their beach portraits on the blog today!
The weather was stormy for most of the afternoon, it finally cleared up around 6pm and when it did it left the sky with a beautiful rainbow!
On Saturday, August 2nd 2015, I had the incredible honor of photographing Marlene and Alexx as they renewed their vows in an intimate ceremony at the Clock Tower on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida. We began the day with a sweet first look in one of my favorite parts of Worth Avenue. Then we snapped a few sweet portraits before the ceremony began. The weather was stormy but cleared up just in time for the ceremony to start! There were so many tender and sweet moments during this day and I’m excited to share on the blog today!
Congratulations Marlene and Alexx! It was such an honor to document your day!
On Saturday the 27th of June, I had the incredible honor of photographing Matt and Hana’s West Palm Beach Wedding at the National Croquet Center! We started the day with getting ready images at the Hyatt hotel, in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida before heading over to the venue for a super sweet first look!
There were so many personal touches and beautifully genuine aspects to this wedding that I’m excited to share on the blog today!
Congratulations newlyweds! It was such an honor to document your wedding day!
While visiting sunny South Florida on their anniversary vacation, Chelsie and Brandon from Kentucky hired me to capture their 2nd anniversary portraits. It was a beautiful windy day for a shoot on the sandy shore of Lake Worth Beach. Giggles and laugher filled the air and I couldn’t help but smile as I captured these two!
Chelsie and Brandon, it was such a pleasure to capture your vacation anniversary portraits! Here’s to many more beautiful years of marriage!
Danielle and John have the sweetest hearts. They said ‘I do” on a warm Summer day at the Boynton Women’s Club in Boynton Beach, Florida. Danielle’s classic and elegant style came out in every detail. Details like her 1920’s inspired veil and gloves and all of the handmade decorations gave the day a a unique touch. However, one of my favorite details was one that could not be bought or designed. It was the way they looked at each other. John’s reaction when he first saw his bride was absolutely precious. He covered his mouth in awe and sweet tears gathered as Danielle walked down the isle. Danielle’s expressions throughout the day were priceless. They giggled, laughed and shed a few sweet tears. This day was absolutely beautiful in every way.
Danielle and John, thank you for allowing me the honor of capturing your beautiful day!
Her stunning lace dress, delicate gloves and handmade 1920’s inspired veil complete her elegant look. Sweet moments as Danielle’s mom helped her become a stunning bride. The Boynton Women’s Club was an amazing venue. This venue was originally built in 1925 by Addison Mizner. John’s expressions as his bride approached him were so precious. Their personal vows brought laugher and tears.First dance as husband and wife. Then it was time for the father/daughter dance.
Started out slow and then broke out into a mix of fun songs!
Palm Beach, Florida always seems to captivate me. A peaceful Sunday morning in paradise is where this family portrait session took place. We started the session on the sandy shore of Palm Beach. Then we made our way toward Worth Avenue. It was truly a pleasure to capture this precious family. Enjoy this Palm Beach family shoot!
Emily’s vintage bridal shower was breathtaking. Oh my goodness! Every detail was unique, told a story and engaged the guests. It beautify told Emily and Caleb’s story!
One of my favorite details: framed notes from Caleb scattered around the house stating his favorite things about Emily! Seriously!? Wait till you see what he said about his lovely bride-to-be!
Emily and Caleb met in 2011, at Palm Beach Atlantic University were they attended. Emily was actually the first person Caleb met on his first day at PBA! They became friends over the next two years.
In April of 2013, Caleb began to see the girl he had once identified as my sister as more than just a friend. However, he was faced with the unavoidable knowledge that she had just committed to a year of no dating.
So Caleb waited… and waited… and after a summer of letters, a semester of group hang-outs, and months distant converstaions, January 22 came and the wait was over. Caleb asked Emily’s father for his blessing and planned the most amazing proposal!
The rest is history.
Emily has a special place in my heart. She has been my best friend since pajama day in pre-school. We have been through many four square games, summer mission trips, first boyfriends, bad haircuts, late night talks and oh so many shopping trips! She stood by my side as my maid of honor two years ago and in less than two months I will be standing by her side as she says “i do” to the man of her dreams! I cannot express how happy I am that she has found “the one!” MY BEST FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED!! AHH SO EXCITED!
Congratulations Sarah aka Palm Beach Atlantic University Graduate! It was such an honor capturing your Senior portraits! You are now a 2015 Palm Beach Atlantic University graduate! So happy for you and your amazing accomplishment! You did it!
Sarah’s Senior lifestyle shoot was shot in sunny West Palm Beach, Florida! We started our session on the fresh grounds of the new Marshall and Vera Lea Rinker Athletic Campus Field! This beautiful PBAU Softball field was the perfect place to begin because Sarah has played softball for the university for the majority of the time she attended! Sarah was at home on the field and her eye’s filled with her passion for the game! After we captured many shots on the Softball field we headed over to Worth Avenue for some more elegant and stylish look. The classic and tuscan parts of Worth Avenue were the perfect spots for some more diverse and lifestyle portraits!
Her passion for Softball and Palm Beach are definitely captured in the joyful photo shoot. I had so much fun capturing this beauty doing what she loves!
Enjoy this lifestyle college senior portrait session!
