Senior Portraits at Frenchman’s Forest in Palm Beach Garden, Florida
On April 25th, I had the pleasure of capturing Madison’s senior portraits at Frenchman’s Forest in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Madison had her heart set on having a whimsical session in the woods. But, as we all know, the woods can be hard to come by in Florida. After searching and searching she came across a gem in the middle of Palm Beach Gardens. I had never even heard of the park. But she found the spot she was searching for! And, boy! Was it worth the search!
Our session started in this perfect location with the sun peeking through the surrounding trees. Madison stood out so beautifully against this lush backdrop with her gorgeous hair and her lovely smile. She wore a deep purple dress that blended so well with the location. And she added her cowgirl boots to the mix to give a touch of her style.
I first met Madison many years ago at our church when she was just a little one! I remember her sweet little face in children’s choir when I was helping to lead the group. It is hard to believe that she is graduating High School already! As we were walking during her session she told me about her goals and plans. I am so proud of the strong, driven, and smart, young lady she has become!
The light was amazing!! These are some of my favorite shots from the whole session! Frenchman’s Forest was such a great location choice!
The details from this Senior Portrait shoot at Frenchman’s Forest:
He got down on one knee and popped the big question at the Breakers in Palm Beach the day before their engagement shoot. They were still on cloud 9 and beaming with joy. Her dream was to be proposed to in Palm Beach–a place she often visited with her family. Although she had her suspicions when the question was asked, it came as a wonderful surprise. She had the man of her dreams, a gorgeous ring on her finger and had packed her favorite Lilly Pulitzer dress! She was ready for her next surprise!
Stephanie’s parents contacted us a few weeks prior to their trip to Palm Beach from Chicago. They told me the plan and how they wanted to surprise Stephanie with her dream engagement shoot in Palm Beach the day after the proposal!
Stephanie’s mom, Lori, even wrote a personalized poem that she framed and gave to Stephanie after the proposal to tell her about her second surprise—her dream engagement shoot!
It was such a pleasure working with this happy couple! It was such an honor to capture their Palm Beach destination engagement photos!
Stephanie and Brandon,
Andrew and I wish you all the best as you begin this wonderful new season of life! We hope you enjoy looking back on your engagement photos for many years to come!
We started with a few quick portraits in the colorful Worth Avenue! Then we made our way to the Worth Avenue Clock Tower! The main spot Stephanie always dreamt of having her engagement photos captured at! When I saw Stephanie’s ring I was in awe. It was one gorgeous ring. Then she told me that her uncle was the owner of Astrein’s Creative Jewelers and designed her incredible ring for Brandon to give to her! How sweet is that!? The framed photo her parents gave her after the proposal to tell her about her engagement shoot with us! Then it was time for a few classic beach photos! Then we finished up their Palm Beach destination engagement shoot with a few more photos in front of the Worth Avenue Clock Tower!

A Dreamy Nautical Wedding at Out of the Blue in Jupiter, Florida
On Saturday, March 25th, 2017, Andrew and I had the pleasure of documenting Amy and Alan’s dreamy nautical wedding at Out of the Blue Waterfront in Jupiter, Florida. Amy and Alan were one of the most joyful and fun couples we have ever worked with! Their love for life and each other is genuine and warm. Every moment of their day was filled with contagious laughter, tears of joy and warm smiles.
When Amy contacted us last Summer to capture their Palm Beach engagement photos I loved that they knew exactly the locations they wanted. Bethesda by the Sea and the Palm Beach Lake Trail. They chose these locations because they wanted their engagement photos to be captured in places that are special to them. What I didn’t expect was how they would incorporate one of their favorite activities–riding bikes along the Palm Beach Lake Trail. But this wasn’t just any bike ride. It ended in the most epic way–with a quick dive in the in the inlet! Their shoot was the most adventurous and fun engagement shoot ever.
Their wedding day was no different. Although they didn’t have bikes or end the night by jumping in the inlet, their day was filled with so much more than I was expecting. Every single moment and detail from their day told a little part of their story in the perfect way. The way Amy radiated with complete peace and joy throughout the whole day. The way their guests wholeheartedly shared in their excitement. The way their pup, Bella, handled the responsibility of ring bearer so well. And the way Alan bawled as he saw Amy walking down the isle.
Their wedding day was truly one for the books!
Special Thanks:
