A Romantic Wedding Anniversary at Riverbend Park in Jupiter, Florida
On Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 I had the pleasure of capturing Alexis and John’s one-year wedding anniversary portraits. Exactly one year ago from this day they promised forever. So in honor of their vows they decided to get back into their wedding attire and have a memorable first anniversary styled portrait shoot!
The location of this anniversary session was the breathtaking Riverbend Park in Jupiter, Florida. In this dreamy park, you will find a terrain unlike any other in South Florida. This park is filled with flowing rivers, unique trees, and Spanish moss!! When the sun sets in this park it is nothing short of magical. The most glorious golden light was reflecting onto wheat-like fields creating an amazing scene.
When Alexis first contacted me to capture their anniversary portraits I was beyond thrilled! And when I heard what she had in mind I was over the moon! We immediately began chatting about ideas and as a result, we came up with the most dreamy and romantic wedding anniversary shoot ever!
John and I have known each other since we were in grade school! We grew up going to the same church and were a part of the same youth group. When John started bringing Alexis to church I remember thinking how cute they were together! Fast forward to today, they have been together for four years and I am so happy for them!
Alexis & John, thank you so much for allowing me the pleasure of capturing your anniversary portraits! It was such an honor to capture this special time in your life. Here’s to many more beautiful years to come!
The details behind this romantic wedding anniversary:
On Saturday, October 15th 2016, Andrew and I had the pleasure of capturing Chelsey and Simo’s joyful wedding day in Lake Worth, Florida. Their church ceremony was held at St. Andrews Church and the reception took place at the Lake Worth Casino. Their joyful wedding day was beautiful in every way. So many sweet tears of joy fell down this tender-hearted bride’s face, and her father’s, during many emotional moments. There were smiles of joy and tears of joy shared throughout the whole day.
Chelsey and Simo’s wedding day had many gorgeous details but by far my favorite was Chelsey’s wedding dress! Her dress was an elegant silk strapless ball gown with a long train. Furthermore, the dress had a stunning jeweled belt filled with crystals and pearls. She looked absolutely gorgeous wearing it!
Chelsey and Simo, thank you for allowing Andrew and I the pleasure of documenting your joyful wedding day! It was such an honor to be a part of your big day!
The bride’s Christian Louboutin wedding shoes Chelsey’s pup made herself comfy on her dress. I love the expressions on the couple’s fathers in this photo… The bride’s bouquet had three little photo charms in memory of her grandparents. Reception time! After the speeches, Chelsey’s cousins had a surprise for her and Simo…. They broke out in singing and dancing while wearing these epic wings. Consequently, everyone was laughing uncontrollably!
“Two hearts that beat as one…” They were awesome! Garter toss… They didn’t have a garter but the DJ had this foam ring. So they used it as a garter! Bouquet toss! They blindfolded him and switch out the person in the chair! 😉His reaction was awesome! Cake cutting! These two could dance!! Sleeping baby. Dollar Dance! So much joy! Probably the cutest couple ever!

A Breezy Tropical Beach Wedding at The Club at Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs, Florida
On Saturday, October 8th, 2016 Andrew and I had the pleasure of traveling to the West coast of Florida for Gyles & Lindsay’s tropical beach wedding at the Club at Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs, Florida. This tropical beach wedding was an eye-catching array of vibrant colors and breezy, beachy vibes. The bridesmaids wore bright pink strapless gowns and the groomsmen wore white button-down shirts with light khaki slacks. Bright pink parasols and streamers filled the ceremony scene as the stunning couple made their way down the aisle as husband and wife for the first time!
Every detail came together so perfectly to bring the tropical theme to life. The Club at Barefoot Beach was the perfect beach front venue and the staff was amazing! It was our first time capturing a wedding in Bonita Springs, Florida, so it was a delightful change of scenery! We also had the chance to work with some amazing local vendors! They graciously welcomed us ‘out-of -towners’ and were a pleasure to work with!
Lindsay was a special bride because she has been in three other weddings we have captured. She was a bridesmaid in Brittany & Josh’s wedding is 2014, Danielle and John’s wedding in 2015 and Rochelle & Scott’s wedding earlier this year! Plus she will also be in her sister Lauren’s wedding in July of 2017! This whole wedding felt like a family reunion for us! All three of our previous couples were there with their families so it was quite wonderful to see them all!
Lindsay & Gyles, thank you so much for allowing Andrew and I the pleasure of capturing your amazing wedding day! So honored to have been a part of your big day! We wish many years of happiness!
These bouquets by Signature Florals were amazing! So this creative pose was all Andrew’s idea! Rochelle & Scott who you may remember from their wedding at the Addison earlier this year! Three of my brides in one photo! Love these ladies!
